Multiplayer?

I heard that by running BGTutu would let Vista be compatable with BG1,2 & TOB Multiplayer... however every time I try to run something multiplayer, the game crashes and I get a black screen. Is there a patch for this? Or am I doing somthing wrong?

I have found Multiplayer is only possible if I run in Windowed mode, at least until connection.

 

Have both machines been patched identically?

Ah, thank you! I appreciate the help. Yes, the game appears to be able to access the Multiplayer screen now, on both computers with a windowed screen. Now it seems I cannot get the two to connect! I'm using our wireless IP address... I'll check up on the patches... Hrm... it may be possible that I need to open up a static port or such... also a strange occurance is the computer that is trying to connect to the host seems to recognize the game name through the IP address... but can't connect... strange strange.... well, thankyou so much. Any other advise would be appreciated. I will make another detailed post if I find a way to resolve this issue or have come to any more conclusions.

I'm now attempting to switch computer hosting...
