battle help in D'Arnise keep

I am loving the new battles which are all full with many surprises after beating the normal game many times. The final battle in the D'Arnise keep is bugging me though. Every time I buff up as much as I can and have this experience. round 1. Yoshimo bites it within 3 seconds of entering the room, the next 2 seconds anomen bites it due to the Yuan Ti mage doing enough damage to kill him instantly. I always fail saving throws and they always make theirs. How in the HECK do you beat these guys? What's a good strategy here? Obviously, buffing up and charging doesn't work anymore. I'll try buffing up and running - hopefully only a couple follow into my well layed traps. Any other ideas?

Finally got it although had to change my strategy around though using some hit and run tactics with a few cloudkills in a different areas and it took awhile, but it's done. Can't wait for the next surprise.
