Stuck in the beginning

Hey guys, I just reinstalled Bg2 after getting my discs back from my brother, and I've been dying to check out Amber, but I seem to be having some trouble getting her quest off the ground.

I've had my character drag his feet all over the city for days, but nothing's happening. I checked my savegame out in shadow just to see if there was a timer I could set down, but the only M labelled global I can see is the basic romance check "M#ambermatch".

I'm pretty sure I got all my ducks in a row, installation wise, so I don't think that's it.

Does this sound like mod conflict or me doing something wrong or what? I've really been waiting to check this mod out...'s very frustrating. Meh

Have you dealt with Viconia yet? If not do so and then head to the less reputable area's of Athkatla. If you do that and keep your eyes and ears open you'll be all set.
