Tweakpack on Vista - Multistronghold and romance tweaks not working

[Guest Ode to a Grasshopper]

Hi all, sorry for what's probably a noob problem. I'm running BG2 on Vista, and after patching and installing the G3 fixpack have installed the G3 tweakpack including the no-restrictions Multi-stronghold mod and concurrent no restrictions romance mod. I have just finished clearing the Keep with an elf archer PC, Jaheira, and Viconia, with the plan of romancing them both for a non-whiny elf/half-elf harem of my very own. However, I'm having 2 problems.

1. Viconia ain't biting. No romance dialogues at all, not even the initial 'how have you been?'. Jaheira's doing fine though.

and 2. Nalia is giving me the "You're not a fighter so no Keep for you" routine. Since a large part of my plan is to leave her there to housesit along with Minsc once he does the 'be-my-witch' proposal, while my core party of PC, Imoen, Jaheira, Viconia, Jan and a roster of NPCs of the day subject to what quest I'm pursuing at the time, this is kind of a pain.

 

I'm confoosed - the no-helms part of the mod has gone through fine so I assume it at least partially worked, but still no nice big house or drow luvvin. Any help appreciated.

This is just confusing - my elf archer got offered the playhouse and has been offered the thieves guild once he gets rid of Mae'var, but I had to change my class to Fighter with Shadowkeeper to get the Keep. After adding ViconiaMatch1 and waiting a while Viconia is romancing him fine, but when I join her in paying out on Aerie the say-anything part still isn't working and the Aerie romance ends, and when I choose Viconia over Jaheira that one stops too.

 

Any ideas at all what's going on here? Please?

Install the game to non-Program Files sub-folder so the edited files are actually used, if you do play on the normal mode.
