unable to uninstall

I modded my EasyTutu installation with this mod a long time ago (v16). Using v16, I am unable to uninstall any component. I am unable to re-install any component.

Downloaded version 18, and tried uninstalling and re-installing, but got the same result: can't do either.

Here's what the message is:

On a possibly related note, I uninstalled SCS and then installed a new version. While installing the new version, I was unable to install Improved Doppelgangers and Improved Durlag's Tower.

 

I'd appreciate any help with this.

PS -- the tp2 file is in the same folder as the weidu executable when I get the above error

The only time I've seen this is if I've moved stuff (mod files or folders) around or otherwise hosed my install. Given how it's complaining your mods are "too old" you might be better off with a fresh install anyway.
