PS:T trouble loading interior graphics

I installed the Widescreen Mod.

Whenever the game has to load the interior of a building, it freezes up and doesn't respond. I have to ctrl-alt-del to quit the game. This happens when I load a save game that's in a building, and also if I enter a building from the city streets. Either way, it locks up the game.

When it tries to load, I see the progress bar loading screen, and it begins to animate and stops. The CD drive doesn't spin up, and I can't see or hear any action out of the hard drive. Total lockup.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Jeremy

And the version number is? v2.2 is out... what's your resolution?

The problem might be that the saving is done in one point and when the same small area is loaded, the loaded point is not centered to the center of the area, from which one of the borders goes over the real area, and the game locks.

+You need to have a full install.

This sounds like the "lots of crashes" referred to when the readme+notes tell you that you can't use old savegames (with interior regions already saved) for PST. Does it happen if you make a new (as in, from the beginning) game?

Yes, I think I'm encountering the "lots of crashes" issue because I have save games. I have already played a long way through the game, and wanted to apply the patch now. Too bad. Is there any sort of work-around?

Thanks for the info!

Jeremy
