theacefes
Put this in your sarahtob/dialogue folder and reinstall. You don't need to start a new game, just make sure you have a save (or can set the variables) to before the "Did you know your mother" talk. hotfix.zip Hopefully no one is angry at me. It was a stupid typo on my part. Link to comment
Jordoo
Angry? Looks like you were up pretty late on the West Coast finding a fix for us while I was Thanks ace! Just to varify unzip that file in sarahtob/dialog folder then run the setup and reinstall. Do I need to uninstall first? I resaved over my old saves after the "mother" talk because I finally got "romanceactive 1" so I'll need to change my variables. What should I change them too? Delete romanceactive Change talkfriend to 5? change any timers ? Link to comment
Athos
You are an angel Unfortunally I don't have any saves before this talk, so I'll have to start a new game But well, I just begun playing PS:T (and WOW! just... wow!) so I'll just start over after that. Thanks a lot! Link to comment
theacefes
No uninstall is necessary, just reinstall after extracting the files to the appropriate folder. Link to comment
Jordoo
OK, any insight on the variable changes? Link to comment
theacefes
You could set the friendship variables back, but it's the timers that I'm not comfortable telling you to mess with because I don't want to ruin your game. I suppose an "attempt at your own risk" warning would be sufficient here. Oh, and sorry it took me so long to reply. Link to comment

I already tried removing the romance variables and setting the friendships back but nothing happened everything seemed to work but no more talks . Maby I'll screw around with the timers but I also was thinking about trying Arora's Shoes mod as well so a restart wouldn't be the end of the world. Edit: Oh Yah, How dare you make me wait! WHAT THE .... just kidding Link to comment
theacefes
And if you don't want to wait all over again for her romance to kick in, but still want to see the talks, you can always console those in too. AdvanceRealTime(999999) is usually safer than messing with the variable numbers themselves...at least in my experience. Psh, you better wait.. Link to comment
Jordoo
I'll give the "advancerealtime" a try with the game I have before restarting. Thanks again Ace! Your Link to comment
Jordoo
Well it looks like a restart afterall. I am going to install Arora's Shoes and get Sarah some sweet boots so its all for the better anyway! Link to comment

Athos
I just finished PST and allow me to say: Best. Game. Ever. I am overwhelmed by the amazing storytelling. But after all this barmy stuff, coming back to being a child of the Lord of Murder and having a sweet ranger companion should feel like home. Ahhh, the simple things... Link to comment

But after all this barmy stuff, coming back to being a child of the Lord of Murder and having a sweet ranger companion should feel like home. Ahhh, the simple things... I'm afraid I didn't really like PST. The storyline was mildly interesting to me but I think it has more to do with the fact that I waited so long to play it, when I was playing other games that held my interest longer for whatever reason. Still, nice to see that coming back to BG is relaxing. Link to comment
