New game necessary?

Just wondering, does one need to start a new game to get the effects of this mod? I've never modded NWN2 before, but I know that's the case with some games.

 

Do you need to play through the romance in the OC to play it in MotB, or can you start a new game there and pick up where you would have left off?

You don't need to start a new game to play the romances, but you won't get content from earlier points in the game, obviously.

 

This isn't quite like BG2-style romances, with timered talks. These are all event-related. Because Bishop, Casavir, Neeshka, and Elanee aren't in MotB unless Safana summons them, they don't have any talks. You can flirt with Bishop and Casavir, though.
