Heya there,

 

There's an extra reference to a MONKTU 8.DLG (with space) in the vanilla BGII-ToB chitin.key, that contains the same stuff in MONKTU8.DLG (without space). This single line:

 

It's not as much as the fiend had, but it's plenty, and it's at a significant discount for you. Just speak to Bernard...I still have him handling the store.

The file isn't referenced by anything in the game either.

 

I'm sorry if this doesn't come within the purview of the BG2Fixpack, but it's a vanilla game overlook, so there (this thing discussed here)

Other than asking modders to start using ~^[a-z0-9_#!-]+\.ext$~ for their regexps, there's nothing to be done here (and as you note, there's no effect on the game at all). There's a whole lot of junk in chitin.key that's never used.
