Hi, could anyone explain what is this component actually do? This is the first time I play BG game so I do not know the difference with other BG game(the first one).

Hi, could anyone explain what is this component actually do? This is the first time I play BG game so I do not know the difference with other BG game(the first one).

As the characters in the original BG2 are preleveled, this component takes the lowest level of the particular NPC character in the game, and copies it to the other versions, and then gives them the appropreate xp boost, so you can level up(choose proficiencies etc.) the character yourself to you liking.

Before I install this component when Minsc join my party in Irenicus dungeon he level up. But when install it, he is not lvl up. Is this what suppose to happen?

Ah, are you using some other mod? Like the Level 1 NPCs that should not be used with this mod cause it can cause problems... in certain circumstances. So open the WeiDU.log with Notepad and copy/paste the content to a post...
