Guest Mark Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Hi, I have a (hopefully) quick question and hope this is the right place. I am running EasyTutu with most of the standard mods. I am playing through BG1, and am to Chapter 7 and I can't seem to get the Duchal Palace gates to open. The guy you are supposed to talk to (Bill) is not there. Is there anyway I can just spawn him using CreatureCreate? If so, what is his name? I have completed all the quest related items to make this available (talked to Tamoko twice, Saved Eltan and brought him to the harbormaster, killed chythandria in Iron throne, killed slythe and krystyn in the undercellars. I got all the paper evidence and sarevok's diary as well. Thanks in advance for the help - Mark
Ankhesenpaaten Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Okay, a shot in the dark here, you mention you have Sarevok's diary and the evidence. You do not say if you have the invitations for the Duchal Meeting. There should be 2 notes that say at the bottom "this looks important and you should keep it among your possessions." If you don't have them, perhaps you can CLUA them in or use Shadowkeeper if you are using TuTu and try the palace again to see if Bill shows up.
Guest mark Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 I have both of them as well. If someone has the creature code name for Bill, I could probably just CLUA him in. Not sure if that would work either. - Mark
Ankhesenpaaten Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Well, if you're really screwed, and it sounds like you are, it can't hurt to try to just warp your party to the actual area. I looked up the area code for the duchal palace ground floor and it is AR7208. Try that. If things procede from there you're in luck! I don't know if TuTu changes any of these codes but if they do someone will probably know what it is or where to find it. Good luck! Let me know. P.S. I'm assuming you know how to use the CLUA Console?
Guest mark Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Yep that worked, but I had to use FW0108. Thanks for your help!
Ankhesenpaaten Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 You're welcome, even tho the code had changed! I'm so glad you can move on now.
