G_Admiral_Thrawn
How do I open the setup-bg2fixpack.tp2 file? All I have in my BG folder is setup-bg2fixpack (as a DEBUG file) and setup-bg2fixpack (as an application). I have not actually installed anything yet, just extracted it from my downloads to my BG2 folder (I think). Link to comment
Mike1072
Are you trying to install the mod, or look at its insides? The .tp2 file contains the instructions on how the mod works, and can be read with any text editor. To install the mod, you should run setup-bg2fixpack.exe for the Windows version. Link to comment
G_Admiral_Thrawn
thing is, I want to remove some of the bad (player perspective, like removing exploits) bug fixes. Here's the quote from the "I hate this fix" post. If you've already installed the Fixpack, you can still make these changes: just uninstall it and then run through the steps above. Voila! The Most Holy Order of the Radiant Heart is full of lawful evil paladins again. And I don't want to install, uninstall, reinstall this. I want to fix, then install, then install my other mods. Mike1072
Okay, grab your favourite text editor and edit away. Link to comment
G_Admiral_Thrawn
Okay, grab your favourite text editor and edit away. that's what I'm asking. HOW? I have 2 files, a debug file and the application file. Which one do I open in Notepad? Link to comment
Mike1072
The .tp2. Run Notepad (or a better text editor) first, then go File -> Open, browse All Files and select setup-bg2fixpack.tp2. Link to comment
G_Admiral_Thrawn
I was looking in the wrong place. I was just looking in my SoA/ToB folder, not the Fixpack folder. Link to comment
