Guest Clocknova
I installed all 20 mods. Some had problems with certain components and those parts were not installed, but otherswise everything went smoothly. Here is my WeiDU.log file. Let me know if you can help me avoid any more conflicts. Thanks. // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod // ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // Component Name ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #2 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #3 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #4 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #9 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #10 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #11 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #12 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #13 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #15 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #18 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #19 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #20 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #21 // ~SETUP-EASE.TP2~ #0 #26 // ~SETUP-ITEMUPGRADE.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-ITEMUPGRADE.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~SETUP-SPELL50.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #4 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #6 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #8 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #9 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #10 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #11 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #14 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #15 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #17 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #18 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #23 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #24 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #25 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #26 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #27 // ~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #29 // ~SETUP-UNDERREP.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-ASHESOFEMBERS.TP2~ #0 #3 // ~SETUP-ASHESOFEMBERS.TP2~ #0 #10 // ~SETUP-ASHESOFEMBERS.TP2~ #0 #11 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #4 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #8 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #13 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #15 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #16 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #20 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #21 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #22 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #23 // ~G3TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #25 // ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #0 // NPC Kit Pack ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #1 // Anomen Gains Helm Kit on Passing Knighthood Test ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #2 // Anomen Gains Berserker Kit on Failing Knighthood Test ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #3 // Prevent CN Anomen Gaining a Holy Symbol ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #4 // Add Red Wizard to Edwin's Kit Description ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #5 // Give Imoen Adventurer Kit ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #10 // Give Imoen Illusionist Kit] [Option 5 of 8] [Please do not install if you wish Imoen to have a different mage kit. ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #15 // Change Korgan's Kit to Battlerager ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #16 // Give Mazzy a Proper Truesword of Arvoreen Kit ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #17 // Change Minsc's Title to Rashemaar Ranger ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #18 // Give Nalia Adventurer Kit ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #23 // Give Nalia Illusionist Kit] [Option 5 of 8] [Please do not install if you wish Nalia to have a different mage kit. ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #28 // Give Sarevok a Proper Deathbringer Kit ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #29 // Improved Specialist Mage Descriptions ~SETUP-DOS.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #2 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #3 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #4 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #5 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #6 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #7 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #8 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #9 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #10 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #11 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #12 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #13 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #14 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #15 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #16 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #17 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #19 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #20 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #21 // ~SETUP-UB.TP2~ #0 #22 // ~SETUP-VIC.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-VIC.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~SETUP-VIC.TP2~ #0 #3 // ~SETUP-VIC.TP2~ #0 #4 // ~SETUP-TURNIPGOLEM.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~G3ANNIVERSARY/SETUP-G3ANNIVERSARY.TP2~ #0 #0 // The Gibberlings Three Anniversary Mod ~SETUP-D0QUEST.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-D0QUEST.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~SETUP-D0QUEST.TP2~ #0 #2 // ~SETUP-D0QUEST.TP2~ #0 #3 // ~SETUP-D0QUEST.TP2~ #0 #4 // ~SETUP-ASCENSION.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-ASCENSION.TP2~ #0 #2 // ~SETUP-ASCENSION.TP2~ #0 #3 // ~SETUP-REDEMPTION.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-REDEMPTION.TP2~ #0 #1 // ~SETUP-BWQUEST.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-BAGBONUS.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-BW_HERBS_BG2.TP2~ #0 #0 // ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #0 // Aerie Flirt Pack For SOA ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #2 // Aerie Flirt Pack For TOB ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #4 // Jaheira Flirt Pack for SOA ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #6 // Jaheira Flirt Pack for TOB ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #8 // Viconia Flirt Pack for SOA ~SETUP-NPCFLIRT.TP2~ #0 #10 // Viconia Flirt Pack for TOB Link to comment
Guest Clocknova
I've encountered a minor conflict with this setup. As I was building my character, there were two level4 or 5 spells that had dialogue instead of spell descriptions. I have no idea which mods are conflicting. Link to comment
Andyr
That sounds like you installed the official patch after a mod, or you installed a mod with a game editor running. Link to comment
Guest Clocknova
No. The official patch is always installed first, followed by the Baldurdash fix pack. I've also decided to add the Baldurdash text fix now, as well, which I'll add third, before any WeiDU mods. And I don't use any non-WeiDU mods. Link to comment
Andyr
Is it possible you had NearInfinity or Shadowkeeper or the game running while you were installing one of the mods, though? Link to comment
Guest Clocknova
Nope. I'm running the Mac version, so I don't think we even have Shadowkeeper. I've got nothing running during installation but WeiDU in the Terminal. I'm going to try it again later this evening, now that I'm also adding the Baldurdash Text fixpack and I've changed a few of the components of some of the mods in the list. If it helps, I can post the WeiDU log again. Link to comment
Guest Clocknova
Through much trial and error, I managed to discover that the mod "Desecration of Souls" adds to fourth-level mages spells to the spellbook, neither of which have name or description text, and both of which use the 'heal medium wounds' icon. When other mods are installed on top of it, those spells adopt random text from some of them. I can't figure out why this is happening; nothing in the mod description mentions new spells. But there it is. Link to comment
Andyr
Ah, ok. Glad you figured it out. I myself have never played DoS. Link to comment
