Sword Coast Stratagem II & Spell Revision

(I posted this post in Sword Coast Stratagem II too, because i was not sure in wich forum to post, if this could not be done, cancel this post)

Hi everyone, i'm planning to begin my third bg II game and I found these two marvellous mods, but i'm not sure if install them both. i wanted to install spell revision in order to try new spells that were cool in vanilla but at the same time really underpowered but i was wondering if spell revision could make useless the new AI script of SCS II (because the scripts were projected for the old versions of the spells). Has someone tried this two mod togheter? (or could give me an answer to my previous question?).

Plus i read in the readme that casters of SCS II use only 1st-5th level spells modified by spell revision and the 6th-10th uses the vanilla version. Does this apply only to npc casters or also to my group? and, additionaly, why that happen? is there a way to avoid this limitation and allow all the casters of the game to use 1st-10th spells modified by spell revision?

thank you in advance and i make apologies if i made some english's language mistakes, please feel free to correct me if you want to.

SR works very well with SCS, actually since V2 I've always taken into account SCS (e.g. I handled Spell Immunity in a much better way IMO in V1, but ended up reverting the changes to make SR fully compatibile with SCS AI). Since then I always take into account SCS scripts to make sure all changes are fully compatible, and we discussed many of those changes with SCS author too before implementing them or to make them work better together (e.g. SR's Glitterdust alone took dozens of pages in these forums).

Just to be sure you aren't misunderstanding this...SCS always uses SR spells when SR is installed, all of them, HLAs included (for a simple reason: I OVERWRITE vanilla's spells :suspect: ). What is said in that readme is a different thing...

More recent versions of SCS and SCSII re-write entirely spellcaster's spellbooks to assign them a better spell selection skipping less useful/effective spells and customizing some characters. For SCS (BG1) David also takes into account SR changes to decide which spells he can assign to spellbooks (e.g. "crappy" vanilla spells he previosly skipped are probably good with SR installed, an thus he can assign them instead of skipping them). Unfortunately such level of "refinement" has been done only for SCSI and thus for 1st to 5th lvl spells. That by no means is a huge problem, the only downside is that you probably won't see your opponents use 6th to 9th lvl spells that weren't already effective before SR (e.g. most summons).

P.S SR must be installed before SCS.

P.P.S If you install SR you can skip almost all SCS spell tweaks because I already handle them in almost the same way. The only one you may still be interested is the one which allow Breach to work against liches (I consider it a sort of "cheat").
