Kivan/Edwin banter bug in v12

The P#Edwind.baf contains a bug which drove me nuts (but I was to stupid to solve it right away so my nuttiness is my own fault... :)).

 

 

InParty("EDWIN")
See("EDWIN")
!StateCheck("EDWIN",STATE_SLEEPING)

 

should check Kivan instead. You could add a state check for Edwin too because right now you're only doing a InParty(Myself). Currently Edwin tries to start a banter and the game crashes if Kivan is not in the party.

Yeah, I guess it would, if it's in the dream script. Override bugs like that don't cause CTD, but dream script ones do.

 

If nobody else gets around to this by the next time I'm doing updates, I'll get it sorted.
