Guest Guest_Sykar_*
Hey folks I got a problem, since I installed some mids and one among them was the Tweak Pack I installed the unnerfed tables for the caster classes. My problem now is that my new mage gets too many slots per day. To be precise he gets one slot per day too much similar like him being a spcialised wizard. I know I can edit the file in the Override folder but that still won't help completely since the first time he gets a new spell level he still gets 2 isntead of 1 and if I edit that to 0 he won't get any at all. Besides doing that for all levels until 31 is a bit tedious. In case you wonder about the other mods they are: Official Patch G3 Fixpack NPC Kit Ascension Oversight Unfinished Buinsess Rogue Refinements BG2-Tweak Pack SCSII Refinements Virtue aTweaks Link to comment
Sykar
I do not understand this. I uninstalled the component with unnerfed spell tables and still get the wrong amount of spells. Where the hell does the engine get these stupid bonus spells? Anyone knows how to uninstall all mods in one go without confirming every little step? That'd take ages. Link to comment
Miloch
Where the hell does the engine get these stupid bonus spells? At this point, probably in your character/creature file which is embedded in your saved game. Which means you'd have to start a new game or create a new character to fix it.Anyone knows how to uninstall all mods in one go without confirming every little step? That'd take ages.Sure, you could write a batch file using --force-uninstall-list to do it, but that'd probably take you just as long. Link to comment
Sykar
Funny thing is I started a new char after installing the mods but you are right interestingly Imoen did get the correct amount of spells. What I wonder is that I thought the spells per day are handled in the responding mx****** files in the Override folder which you can actually edit your own progression by hand if you fancy. Is there another file for the main character which influences spells per day? Or do NPCs have a file on their own for that? It's actually faster to just uninstall and reinstall BG2 freshly. Guess I have to install the mods now one after another now. *sigh Strangely though last year I did not have had that problem I had the same addons. This is now my third installation an I already removed some mods. Will try to use even less now. Link to comment
Sykar
Ok after 4 hours of carfully installing and uninstallig I found at least what conflicts. It seems lke the Refinements mods causes that issue but I do not know how or with what mod it conflicts. Funnily it applies to mages and sorcerers only. Bards, Clerics and Druids are unaffected. I can rule out Virtue and aTweaks since those were not installed. Link to comment
