mage stronghold choice

Hi,

I am playing the mage stronghold for the first time now. And i chose to tell the aprentices to make the ring of protection. I don't really want the apprentices to die especially with the like 300 +1 prot rings you get in the game...

 

I don't have a savegame to return to the closest ones are right after i chose it(argh) and like 20 days earlier..

 

I was wondering if there's a way to change that choice with CLUA to make something that won't kill the poor little sociopath.
