Inquisitors can't use green amulet in BGtutu?

I decided to try a paladin to finally see what Carsomyr can do. I picked the inquisitor class after seeing it gets charm and hold resistance automatically. My character (Sir Crotchrot has the mindshield icon in his picture fulltime I assume because of the charm resist. When I activate the green amulet nothing happens. I've been 'feared' and 'rigid thinking' twice now during fights with mages after I've activated the green amulet. Is there a way to fix this? Sir Crotchrot thanks you.

If you mean the greenstone amulet, it should work for any kit except wizardslayer. It only lasts 60 seconds though, so if you have a permanent mindshield icon, you have no real way of telling when it wears off unless you listen carefully for the expiration sound effect.

I made sure that I had properly activated the amulet by checking the charge number and the fear/rigid thinking was definitely cast on me within the 60 sec limit. I have gotten around it now by immediately hitting mages with arrows of biting.
