Bri Posted January 16, 2004 Share Posted January 16, 2004 Yes, it is the exact same game. Actually, the graphics are a bit better, but Activision had made it for both. You know what is scary? My dad's favorite game on the old 2600 was Rampage (the monsters that demolish the city). Yes, Activision had released a very bad looking copy of Rampage. I like Bionic Commando myself, but I prefer the more cartoony arcade version (Yes, there is a copy relatively close by) Link to comment
CamDawg Posted January 16, 2004 Share Posted January 16, 2004 Hee hee, I've seen the Atari Rampage. Difficult to tell the buildings from the monsters, but Rampage nonetheless. I've played the arcade version, but I much prefer NES Bionic Commando. If we're talking coin-ops, let's jut say that I wasted many hours better spent studying playing Cyberball in the ASUC while I was at Cal. Link to comment
