scs ii smarter mages fails to install

I've had an error in installing the 'smarter mages' and 'potions for npcs - 1/2 or 2/3 potions are lost' (though not 1/3 or 0 lost) components of SCSII (I quit after smarter mages failed to install).

For the smarter mages component, the relevant message is: ERROR: Failure("resource [dw#sprfi.spl] not found for 'COPY'")

 

Edit: SR hotfixes fix this issue. Why is this not in the documentation/bundled with the actual mod...

I believe Spell Revisions v3 needs a hotfix (available from the SR forum) before it's compatible with SCSII.
