CamDawg
I know making the game less challenging runs against the scope of SCS/2, but making things fair and logical does not. When you meet the ex-cultists on the way to the old Amaunator temple, they mention how they can op longer see once they no longer worship the Unseeing Eye. With that in mind, how does Gaal and his fellow cultists see once the Eye is dead? Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
Well, it might be quite hard to script based on the fact that the ciltist cannot see, but it could be fun to play against them... and learning this could make the casters more intellegent even when blind. The use of different Shout commands could make them able to work in teams(well individuals that callout for friends, that act as they can), summon monsters, cast blessings, chaos and other spells if they have those and other annoyances(so in theory the fight should be really really hard if they saw you, as they would have bonus thac0 or something). DavidW
It's a good point. I'm not very inclined to try to come up with intelligent scripting for blind opponents, though - I'm relaxed about them being easy to mop up once the Unseeing Eye is dead. Link to comment
Ardanis
For reference, it never bothered me that they could see. Also, seeing as how active Gaal was during the 'escape' dialogue, it makes me to believe he could really see, one way or another. Link to comment
phordicus
it's very realistic that the head cleric not actually follow the rules he sets out for the sheep. Link to comment
