[How to] Make AoE Damage Spell Party Friendly

Need help making "Ice Storm" spell party friendly (party doesn't take damage) in my local game

 

Would like to use it in my Improved Anvil run, as I never find use for it since party takes damage on "Hard". I usually use Near Infinity to modify game files.

Tick 'not affecting allies' in 'Area of Effect Target' (200h) in icestorm.pro; not 100% sure it works with IA though (Sikret likes to move around file names to thwart less experienced/patient 'hackers').

So I go to SPWI404.SPL ---> Meele (View/Edit) ---> Go to Edit ---> Projectile Type: Ice storm.pro (98) (View/Edit) ---> Area of Effect Targets: Not affecting Allies (4) ---> Save and Exit.

 

Is this correct?

I spend minutes on IA encounters, hours on the final encounter. But I can see you had/have a difficult time with the mod tho
