It's missing a "hate". 2) The Staff of Curing is not removing Disease. The Disease was applied by an otyugh in the second level of Firkraag's lair. Upon review, the Staff of Curing may have removed the Disease since my character was neither slowed nor taking any damage after its use, but the Slowed and Diseased icons remained on the character's mini-portrait and Character Record for the full duration of the original affliction.
