A situation of which you can't win can arise in a Tradesmeet quest.

1) As seen in the video, the character I attack becomes "Invincible" and will never die. This is because you are meant to talk to the unconscious person first to find out that the people your helping are actually the people your after. If you don't talk to her and just attack the guys you might know to be evil (via loading an earlier save after making the discovery for instance) then the quest breaks.

 

2) The first time I performed this method of completing the quest I managed to kill both evil guys but the unconscious lady didn't initiate her dialog after she recovered and walked over to me. I could not initiate dialog with her myself though I had control of my party, this essentially meant the quest couldn't be completed.

 

(perhaps I attacked him with only one party member causing him to retaliate instead of immediately switching to cower status, causing the changed outcome?)
