phordicus
is there a "read" equivalent to this? ActionOverride("joeblow",SetGlobal("var","LOCALS",1)) Link to comment
Kaeloree
If you need to be checking variables outside of the creature's script, you should be using GLOBAL, not LOCALS. Link to comment
Ardanis
No. If you need it for stat-detection, take a look at ToBEx and it's extended STATS.IDS, it now has almost unlimited amount of entries. Link to comment
phordicus
@K i want NPCJane's DLG to check a local variable on who she's talking to. she also needs to have this be unique for any other PC she might initiate a dialog with. @A i thought of that; it just seems like ToBSEX (because it's just as awesome) is in constant updates and i'd rather not use it until it becomes more finalized (and hopefully required). Ardanis
EDIT I don't remember if it works, but perhaps transferring the dialogue to another actor also allows to check for their own variables. Link to comment
Kaeloree
Yes, that should work. Use CHAIN, perhaps? Link to comment
