Hello and good morning all. I am hoping that I am putting this in the correct place. It involves a smidgen of a back story so just read it thru and then after you have done a bit of searching and listening...stop back by and post your comments. I would truly love to hear your remarks on this.

 

Ok, I was sitting in my office/gameroom playing some Crysis, I had just got to the part where I was infiltrating the dig site to rescue the Dr...low and behold he gets himself turned into a block of ice...so I finish with the cut scene and the game saves. I say to myself, its a good time to take a bio and get some more Diet Coke Vanilla! I go out thru the living room and my wife is on Netflix watching an old move from the early 80's called LifeForce w/ Patrick Stewart. Very 80's Sci/Fic/Horror. I was stopped dead in my tracks as I vaguely recall it...and of course the main protagonist was an ultra good looking Space Vampire chick that pretty much walked and laid about naked the whole movie. ( Her name is Mathilda May, fyi! ).

Anywho, back to the story.. I was sidetracked from my bio and Coke..and I had watched 15mins of so before I realized I wanted to watch it from the begining.."Aieeee! Must pull away from teenage hormones surfacing...must pull away!" I succeeded..and got my drink and bio and some Big Cheeze-Its and continued on with Crysis before saving and quitting just as I was entering the mountain caves and the alien stronghold. (fastforward thru my sleep...)

 

Ok, it's now 10am and I am sitting in front of my TV and fired up the PS3 and pulled up Netflix and went to "Recently Watched" and found and started Lifeforce. Then the strangest thing happened the movie started with a music score. I instantly froze..and when I mean froze, I froze/locked up..I was like HOLYCRAP!...Nofrickenway. HOMYGOSH!. I restarted the movie and there it was..playing in 7.1 surround sound.

 

What was it you asked..I will let you find out..Netflix> Lifeforce> Patrick Stewart and Mathilda May. ( Patrick, by no means was the headliner. )

 

Let me know what you find..anyone who reads this here should know it almost instantly, I sure did..if not..then we know what your *not* a fan of, don't we. =)

Next time, just post the fanfic. This looks incredibly similar to spam, and two separate moderators almost deleted this topic as such. Good rule of thumb: don't bother linking anything on imdb. If folks are curious, they can look it up. Also, when a moderator reads things like "58-inch Samsung HD TV," the first thing they think of is "OK, so where's the link for Viagra?"

Hey ther berelinde. I did not realize that it looked like spam. haha..now that I look at it from your point of view..it kind of sort of does. My apologies. I was just kind of excited to hear the score in the movie.

I took the time to read your post, have seen the movie LifeForce, and would like to know what it is I'm supposed to know at once. N.B. I can't get Netflix in my country.

maybe it shares music with crisis? I must admit, also thought it was spam at first too.
