Tyris for Mac?

So...

The last thread on this topic kind of trailed off into nothingness. I was just wondering, did anyone make progress on a method for installing Tyris on the mac? I remember the golden axe series so fondly, and I really wish I could install the Tyris mod.

it should work almost perfectly as-is. Apply this fix to the bundled script if you want any sound though:

it looks fine, but ugly. Are you sure all the sounds are listed?

 

It could be simplified like this:

rm -f override/G#TFSONG.wav
rm -f override/G#TYRS*.wav
