My install order for BG2

Haven't had any problems so far, working great, truly the best BG2 experience!

Just not too sure about having Ascension before the fixpack, I once read some people doing this without any problems...any thoughts?

Also I'd like to add Ashes of Amber in this, were should it go?

Well, there's known bugs in both cases, your best bet in this is to actually use the Ascension component from the BP-v180b, yes it's "new" and made so that it doesn't require the BP AI to be installed at the same time. The rest looks decent ...

 

The QuestPack can be installed if you use the BWFixpack & BWI , unfortunately for all the BiG World Setup is not up to dated anymore to make all the BWinstalls easy as pie... pie with razor blades.
