If I'm wrong about this someone with a better understanding will correct me, but I believe level 50 is hard coded. That is why all "Remove Level Cap Completely" tweaks stop there. EDIT: (it pays to read the question properly ) I think one of the reasons Paladins, Rangers and Bards have a cap on spell progression (proper response to your question) is their other capabilities. Look at the IWD-HoW progressions for Paladins and Rangers. At some point they would become equal to a Cleric or Druid... That said, BG1 Tweaks has the HoW Paladin and Ranger spell progression as a component. The same could be done for BG2 Tweaks if they'd be willing. It gives them more casting capability, but not to the level of a Cleric or Druid.

The visible line is 12 spells per level, but in the original BG2(ToB), you can memorize about 20 at least when you put 2 rings that double the amount you can memorize... thought there are no such rings. So yes, that game can do that... but the Paladins, Rangers will cap their spells "cast at level" to 9... and they start at level 1 when they gain the first spell. This coud be done? The reason why the paladins and rangers stop being able to cast any spells at all is because the mod(Zyraen's ) in use stops at level 40... while you have installed a mod that allows the characters reach levels beyond that, before the mod... so the two mods are incompatible in this respect.
