Garen Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 just saw the latest manual of Big world, not bothering with BG1, all of the stackable mods for bg2, im gonna install them all! maybe it would took me a day just to read, download and install of them =(

BG2 is a huge and a great game, but I'm going to rain on your parade a little: installing all the big mods(or installing more than fifty mods, anyway) almost always means certain installation and playthrough troubles. Some mods may clash with each other, big cache impounds on memory, crashes happen, some mods can make the game imbalanced and too easy, and so on. And since it's likely you've neither played the modded game for years nor have learnt the Big Bug threads by heart, it may mean troubles for you, too. I'd recommend starting small: BG2 tweaks, Level 1 NPCS, some quest mods, some other mods that you are interested in. If you choose to ignore BG1 in BG2 engine with talking BG1 NPCs, well, that's your choice, you can always come back to it later. But don't start your BG2 experience with three days of reinstalls and four more days of crashing. Because for new players, Big World experience CAN be daunting and it can put you off BG2, if not for good, then for a very long time.
