polytope Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Not sure if this should be in BG2 fixpack (maybe tutufix?) given the number of actual doppelgangers in BG2, but anyway, in certain sequences the doppelganger appears to slap your character with the back of his hand rather than claw at them (as you'd expect, their claws are coded as slashing weapons). Re-arranging the frames (already done) in MDOPG2.BAM and MDOPG2E.BAM gives them a better looking attack animation.
aVENGER_(RR) Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 This is very nice, but not quite fixpack material. It might fit better in Infinity Animations.
Lollorian Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 That's a great change! They look far more natural now. Mind if I ask the BWP peeps to incorporate these until some mod does?
polytope Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Not at all Lollorian, I meant for them to be distributed.
Miloch Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Can you attach those BAMs here instead of going through mediafire?
Dakk Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Can you attach those BAMs here instead of going through mediafire? If nothing else, I can.
Miloch Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Odd, I get a "500 Error - Internal Server Error" when I try to download that.
Dakk Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Erm.. me too. I'll see if there's anything I can do, or if this is a board issue.
Dakk Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Test. Ok I can download this from my User CP, from preview post and also from the actual post (although, I'm pretty sure I tried that with my other attachment too). Let me know how it goes.
Miloch Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Eh, still the same error. Though when I wasn't logged in, it was a really nasty error, something about theacefes (seriously). Must be a forum issue, odd.
Dakk Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Oh well. I'll pop a PM to the powers that be. FWIW the links in the OP to Mediafire is not full of ads and nasty malware - it's a very clean download (possibly premium service).
Miloch Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Well, I got them finally . Guess they're still on mediafire. I'll add them to the next Infinity Animations, whenever that is. Any reason these should not be the default animations - i.e. should I make them optional? (Which would make yet another component but oh well.)
