aVENGER_(RR)
This should be fairly known, but since it's not on the IESDP, here's an update. Anyone attacking an (improved) invisible creature receives a -4 penalty to hit. Attackers who can see through invisibility (stat SEEINVISIBLE = 1) do not suffer this penalty. Link to comment
Ascension64
In ToB, the penalty applies to targets with either STATE_INVISIBLE or STATE_IMPROVED_INVISIBILITY. Not sure if that conforms to PnP rules. Link to comment

Not sure if that conforms to PnP rules. It does. Here's an excerpt from the 2E AD&D DMG: Table 35: Combat Modifiers Situation Attack Roll Modifier Attacker on higher ground +1 Defender invisible -4 Defender off-balance +2 Defender sleeping or held Automatic* Defender stunned or prone +4 Defender surprised +1 Missile fire, long range -5 Missile fire, medium range -2 Rear attack +2 *If the defender is attacked during the course of a normal melee, the attack automatically hits and causes normal damage. If no other fighting is going on (i.e., all others have been slain or driven off), the defender can be slain automatically. Link to comment

Thus my planned tweak for Detect Invisibility and True Seeing works even better than I thought! Happines. Link to comment
