cmorgan
Corgis Rule. Craig Rules. The torch idea completely Rules. Jerusalem, Elgar, UK music in general, Rules. The Queen... She always rules, but in this particular instance, she RULZ. Link to comment
Cal Jones
Made me proud to be British! I thought the first part - the pastoral scene giving way to the Industrial revolution - was jaw-dropping. And props to the Queen for entering into the spirit of things. The cauldron was amazing as well. But Macca wasn't great - which seems to be a pretty unanimous opinion amongst my Facebook friends. cmorgan
The dude was trying to sing it in something close to the original key, which is certainly way way high for his current range. The man may be a music legend, but he is still human, and not immune to ageing - I wish he had let that young band do a cover (which they did with the other song very well and very respectfully). He could still have led the refrain, which was what folks wanted to sing anyways Link to comment
