BG2 Tweaks - BG Walk Speed

Hey folks, i have a BGT game in which i installed the following mods in order :

1) BGT

2) Infinity Animations

3) BG2 Tweaks - BG walk speed only

My problem is that although my character does get slowed down when i use it, everything else keeps having the same fast BG2 speed, so my relative speed compared to everyone else is like half.

Is this intended? I have trouble believing that the mod aims at making the main character only move at half speed while everyone else, be it friend or foe is normal.

I would appreciate any help.

Cheers.

I looked at the code and it's supposed to give everyone with a humanoid animation a -2 movement modifier. So everyone should be moving roughly the same speed as you. It's possible it doesn't account for Infinity Animations PS:T humanoids or something like that. Could you please post the contents of your WeiDU.log in [ SPOILER ] [ /SPOILER ] tags here so I can see which components you have.

I had a similar issue with certain NPCs but I realised I was installing L1NPCs *after* this component, which was messing it up. IIRC, there may have been something specifically to do with Imoen, possibly something to do with the fact that there are two Imoens in TuTu due to the BG2 engine and all that.

I did notice that the mod missed some animations - in particular, the Monks, Skeletons, and Elminster. This was v9, though, so it may have been fixed by now.

Shouldn't be, but I suppose if you could check out the relevant .cre files before and after with an editor or post more details, I could maybe look into it.

Erhm, you mean --change-log them...
