bhaal Posted January 27, 2013 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Hi I can't seem to figure out which button to press to see (and use) one's high level abilities - where are they? As I have just started playing BG2 I haven't fought my way up to HLA's already - what I did was make a test game and mod the main character and imoen to be ~level 25. At level up, they got to choose a bunch of HLA's each. But then, where do I access them? Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola Posted January 27, 2013 Share Posted January 27, 2013 Well, that depends a bit, but most of them should be in the special ability menu, which is the star in the right hand corner. They can be at the spell menu for mages and clerics or they can be automatically activated like the +1 spell to level x. Link to comment

InKal Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 First button from right, a "star". Imoen is a mage, her HLA's are mostly spells. Test some fighter class instead or install component "treat 9 level spells as HLAs" or something from BG2 Tweakpack IIRC. Link to comment
