lynx Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 We've switched to using cmake in early 2010, but the old build system was left in place for platforms without cmake (or msvc or xcode), just not really maintained. Anyone trying to build gemrb that way was warned already when starting. Anyway, we don't know of any platforms that still don't have cmake available, so we will be removing the old cruft. After the next release, the autotools build system will be completely removed. If there is any platform that still relies on it and really has no access to cmake, we would like to know. Also, if anyone is willing to maintain the old system, we will reconsider removing it.
