help with bg1 and how

when im trying to play bg1 or how on my kindle i try to set difficulty to normal as it is always one up from it when i start which all goes fine untill i restart the game and my options totally reset as if the ini is non existant but when i check it all is at standard settings. well im not too bright with this so a simple explination would be magic thanks in advance oh im running 0.7.2 and my game versions are from DnDmC

You can edit the file manually, it's baldur.ini and icewind.ini respectively. Both can be found in the top game folder.

 

(and you're not running 0.7.2)

thanks tho that was the problem thises files were normal but figured out from the .log that it was gemrb-icewind.ini that was being loaded with everything set at 0 in this file but it worked when i changed some stuff .. (yes it appears i have no idea which version im running) thanks for your time
