Grammarsalad
Hello. I've noticed that it is not possible to change the monk's avatar using this script. Can I ask why? Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
The probable point is that the monks can't use armors. Link to comment

Kensai can't use armors either but that doesn't prevent then from using fighter avatars. I'm wondering if it has something to do with mfist. perhaps: A. It removes mfist (which would make me very happy) B. It doesn't remove mfist but lets players attempt to equip certain weapons that crash the game. C. Something else regarding mfist. D. Something regarding animations E. Something else I haven't considered Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
Well, the fact is, as the armor is the item that's equipped which then allows to change the avatar(as it has the effect which starts the change). Link to comment
CamDawg
It changes the underlying animation, so your mage can *look* like a fighter. The folks who use it are generally multi/dual-classes that prefer the look of one of the avatars over the other (i.e. fighter-mages using the fighter avatar don't show when they're wearing a robe). Monks can't be shifted due to... crashiness in other forms. Link to comment

Heh, crashes immediately if I try to remove mfist via opcode 112. Sigh Edit: thanks though Link to comment
