Vakola

This isn't strictly speaking a modding question.

 

The cleric stronghold quest sets a global timer called "Vakola." As far as I can tell it does...nothing. Nothing at all. Anyone have any insight into what it's for, or whether it's just something Bioware started to do and then dropped?

Vakola was supposed to be a former friend turned enemy of Keldorn (as stated here, if you recall). I presume the timer you mention was dropped together with the quest.
