Planescape Torment - game menu, equipment etc. closing automaticly

Hello,

I have installed Polish version of Planescape Torment ver. 1.1. under Ubuntu linux with Wine. After installing Widescreen mod I have a strange problem: when I enter equipment or game menu (with options, save, load etc) it closes automaticly in a few seconds (not whole game closes, just menu/equipment, etc). And usually it is imposible to pick up any item because the small window closes in a fraction of second. Moreover map scrolling with mouse sometimes works, sometimes not... My resolution is 1920 X 1080.

Is it known bug? What can I do?
