DavidW
That can cause problems. BG2 is an old game and tries to install itself somewhere that modern versions of Windows really don't like. (Why GoG didn't change the default is beyond me.) However, I doubt it will solve your problem. Since finding the source of the problem is proving tricky, let me suggest a workaround. In the override directory of your BG2 folder you'll find a whole bunch of files, one of which is cdpp15.itm . Move it somewhere else. Install SCS. Move it back (after installing all components, not just the dragon one.) This will make virtually no difference to your game (maybe some item that should give immunity to some spell won't in certain special situations) and it might resolve what sounds like a frustrating situation. Wolfrin Fenris
As long as its not game crashing I can definitely live with that! Thank you, I'll give that a go and pray it works! Link to comment
