Lu_
Looks like it's corrupt. According to the character screen, casting Chant on the party doesn't improve their thac0 and saving throws Edit --> It's about SoA. Currently I don't have ToB installed Link to comment
polytope
Chant doesn't improve saving throws without the G3 fixpack installed. It's still powerful, however and provides a bonus, visible in the combat log but not the character sheet improving attack rolls, minimum damage and decreasing spell damage suffered by one point per die - it's a lot like the luck effect. Notice that if some enemy casts unholy blight on your party while they're under the effects of chant they suffer minimum damage - provided they're not fatigued or otherwise suffering a luck penalty - because blight & smite spells inflict 2d2 damage per level which is reduced by one per die to 2 points/level. Lu_
Does all what it says excepting the saving throws, then? Thanks Now, here are two more opcodes, #2 (Cure: Sleep) and #4 (Cure: Berserking), -- looks like they don't work in BG2 Looks like opcode #164 (Cure: Drunkeness) isn't working either, but this is hardly a problem since #94 (Stat: Drunkenness Modifier) can be used instead PS I wonder if it's the right place for posting this. Or should I have posted it in IESDP Archive Forum instead? Can't say I understand the difference between the two parts of this section (IESDP Updates and Info) Link to comment

Can't say I understand the difference between the two parts of this section (IESDP Updates and Info) Well, you "need" to post here, as the archives are place where the former discussions are archived for everyone to see. But there's no indication that anything else needs to be done about them. The info you say, is kinda hard to put anywhere as the IESDP doesn't have a section for the SoA install, and the v26498 ToB game is usually the only thing today that's usually used to modify the game(as in, the mods do not expect the game to be a different for various reasons). Can't say I understand the difference between the two parts of this section (IESDP Updates and Info) "Cure sleep" and "cure drunkenness" are known to be bugged and there are fixes by Ascension64 and Taimon available. For some reason though the IESDP doesn't list these opcodes as broken. On the other hand "Cure berserking" definitely works in my tests, what kind of berserk are you trying to remove; opcode #3 or opcode #246? Also, is it berserk from a spell like effect or berserk from an equipped item like the berserking sword? Link to comment

polytope
Are you sure it's the berserk STATE that is persisting after applying opcode #4, as opposed to just the berserk portrait icon? Link to comment
Lu_
You are right. I've just checked it again and it works (that is, Cure berserking works) Hell knows what I did wrong when I tested it earlier Link to comment
