Cirdan Posted December 29, 2013 Share Posted December 29, 2013 I'm having trouble with the extended effect of a weapon. I am trying to add an effect that references am LOS flagged version of Dimension door. However, when activating the effect in the game through the weapons extended effects, the LOS flag of the spell is negated. Is there a way around this so that the LOS flag is carried on through the use of the item? Link to comment
pro5 Posted December 29, 2013 Share Posted December 29, 2013 How is your spell referenced from the item extended ability? In theory, it should work the same way the spell works if you use opcode #148 Cast Spell at Point. Link to comment

polytope Posted December 31, 2013 Share Posted December 31, 2013 I believe a spell's header flags - those related to casting anyway - are not respected when called through 146/148 from an item. Example; scrolls of Clairvoyance can be used indoors, where the spell itself may not be cast. Link to comment
Cirdan Posted December 31, 2013 Author Share Posted December 31, 2013 Yeah, So the spell itself works just fine individually. (its a mod version of dimension door). But It won't cast through the item. Any ideas? Also, i was trying to save the spattck1 BAM as a .pro so i could use it in my dimension door mod, but i can't seem to get it to come up in the projectile animation list in the spell creation window.
