HLA's sometimes not dealing damage.

My main character, Sorcerer, with Amulet of Power, 50% Cold Res, 5% Magic res, sometimes just seem to completely ignore damage from Lich HLA Dragon's Breath and Comet. The stunning effect of those spell still affected him, but there are no Magic Resist messages(which doesn't apply to Dragon's Breath anyway) nor any Spell Ineffective messages.

 

Anyone seen this before?

 

Those reloads when he targetted Viconia or Neera, they got demolished, so I've only seen it happen on my own character as of yet, and my character has, as I recall, been wiped out by those spells when a party member gets targetted by the spell(Irenicus @ Spellhold most notably).
