Deltarno Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Sorry to bother you all, but I have recently tried to install a mod for BG:EE, but I have run into a problem. When running the setup exe, an error came up. "Please run this program in your infinity engine game directory. Fatal error "Not a game directory." " Sadly, this is the game directory for my game. I am trying to install the romanatic encounters mod for bg1, and in the notes it says that it is BG:EE compatable, so clearly user error is at fault. What might I be doing wrong?
jastey Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 The error message indicates thet the exe believes to be in the wrong folder. Did you copy the content of the zip file (the mod folder and the exe, for Windows) into the folder that contains the "chitin.key"? For me, that is "00766".
