ljbo
On a fresh install of IWD bought from GOG as of today, the widescreen mod v3.05 fails to install: ERROR locating resource for 'COPY' Resource [chuHori6_%0%.mos] not found in KEY file: [./chitin.key] Note that GOG versions features ToLM (and therefore HoW). Jarno Mikkola
Which weidu.exe does the .debug file report to be in usage ? The first line in the debug file reveals this normally, open the file with Notepad .... And post your weidu.log if you use anny other mods than the Widescreen mod. Link to comment
ljbo
Hi Jarno, this happened using Weidu version 23100. The Weidu log is ~DDRAWFIX/DDRAWFIX.TP2~ #0 #2 // DDrawFix -> Use WineD3D's DDraw Library: v1.0 ~1PP_HQ_MUSIC_IWD/1PP_HQ_MUSIC_IWD.TP2~ #0 #0 // 1pp: High quality music for IWD HoW/TotLM ddrawfix comes installed by GOG whereas I did install the High Quality Music. The latter can't be the problem, which is why I spoke of a fresh install, forgetting about the former. Link to comment
ljbo
So, it turns out that the problem lied in the resolution I asked the widescreen mod to set up: 1025 x 576. The mod Weidu scripts can't deal with that resolution for Icewind Dale 1. I do not know whether this is an overlooked limitation of IWD or a faulty logic of widescreen Weidu scripts. Well, with the imminent release of IWD:EE by Beamdog, there is little motivation to sort this out. Link to comment

Does it matter that it has the "DO NOT !!!" -air quotes in front of it, hmm. And that it can be looked when you run the program, I ... The minimum size is the 800x600. At which the x576 won't pass...
