lynx Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 Since nobody is trying to guess, I'll just spill it: Wellington, NZ.
Thimblerig Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Good heavens, what were you doing all the way down here? (Getting rained on, probably. )
lynx Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 Getting disappointed. Nah, it wasn't really that bad, but definitely not sick as. Good enough for an ad-hoc style vacation though. Rain and snow only disabled a few harder hikes, nothing that dramatic (it's clear why you call it tramping though). It would've been better if I hadn't trained in the best ranger/druid school and if I was less well traveled, but you are what you are. There was too much environmental bipolarity all around me to not give me pause.
Thimblerig Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 On behalf of my country I abase myself for disappointing you... Where's your favourite spot?
lynx Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 As far as populated areas go, quirky little Oamaru. As for the opposite, Nelson lakes NP. In summer, the area around Wanaka would likely win over (trading Mount Hopeless for M. Aspiring ).
