Salk
Hello!I read here http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?topic=16960.0 but I am still a bit a lot confused about how timing modes work. What I would like is an effect that kicks in after 2 rounds and then last 2 turns. Now, from what I understand I should choose Timing Mode 3 Delay/Limited but there is only one field for Duration. How do I go about it? I took a look at how ghoult.itm works (Ghoul Touch Spell) and noticed that the IDS Target is: EA / Unknown. Does anyone know what that means? It's peculiar to note that NI doesn't even let you select the "Unknown" as second field. Link to comment
Avenger
You can only do this by the cast spell opcode in the old engine. The 2/0 means everyone. If param1 is 0, then the targeting is ignored. Link to comment
argent77
IDS target 0 doesn't exist in most of the relevant IDS files, but I can manually add it to NI. Link to comment
kreso
I remember this bugged me as well, Ardanis helped me out. What Avenger said - cast spell (x) opcode with a delayed timing mode, then alter the spell's (x) duration to 2 turns. Link to comment
Salk
Thanks for the advice. I used the workaround and it seems to be working... Link to comment
