Planescape Torment (GoG Edition) Widescreen Mod Install Error

I tried reinstalling the game, different resolutions, but nothing works. I keep getting errors during installation process on Win 8.1.

 

I tried THIS solution since the error looked similar to mine, but it didn't work.

So what did you try ? From that link...

Yeah, install the game to C:\Users\<username>\PST\ -directory, also you might need to make sure that you have the latest weidu.exe, you can get the latest official release from here, it's the (Windows Binary) archive, extract just the weidu.exe from it to the C:\Users\<username>\PST\ -directory, it will do the rest when you install the mod.

I've tried that and I still get the error. Here's my debug txt using your fix.

K, manually update the setup-widescreen.exe to be the v23700...

You do this by deleting the "setup-widescreen.exe" in the game directory and copy paste the weidu.exe from the linked archive and rename it as the "setup-widescreen.exe". And then run it.
