subtledoctor
@toxin I agree with you 100% about the weird and annoying challenge of that fight. Meanwhile, as far as the "More Consistent Breach" issue, you might try my hotfix here. No promises, I haven't tested it, but I'd love to know if it works. http://gibberlings3.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=27291&p=237930 Quote Link to comment
ussnorway
The readme page for scs30 has a dead link to the ascenion website I recommend that you use the standard WEIDU version of Ascension (at www.weidu.org) Your text on the link tries to go to gibberling3/readme/weidu Quote Link to comment

AnonymousHero
@DavidW: If you ever release a new version... 1. Could the Djinn from the Efreeti Bottle please be turned back into its vanilla version (AI-wise)? The current AI makes it all but useless: The first two turns the Djinn is "out" it almost invariably spends casting Invisibilty -- thus making is useless as a distraction and preventing the player from ordering it to cast some more useful spell[1]. It also seems to cast Fire Shield which it does not have in the original game. 2. Could you please add an option to disable the "follow player" behavior of summons -- or just disable it permanently? It wreaks absolute havoc when you require careful positioning of the summons and/or the player (summons can displace the player). It can also interfere rather badly with pathfinding. EDIT: Seriously, these issues are so bad that I sometimes have to abuse closed doors against my own summons! (I'm playing no-reload, so I really don't want to die.) [1] For example, it used to be great for finishing off trolls for characters without access to fire/acid damage. Now... not so much. Hopefully yours, Edited September 6, 2015 by AnonymousHero Quote Link to comment
AnonymousHero
fix your forum lag guys... sorry for the double post It's not lag... there's a JavaScript error when posting: "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getType' of null". What a PoS forum software[1]. EDIT: Should add: This was with Chromium 45 [1] It also allows you to start typing a post before logging in and then promptly losing everything you've typed when you attempt to actually post it. Jarno Mikkola
It also allows you to start typing a post before logging in and then promptly losing everything you've typed when you attempt to actually post it.Or you could just be a bit web nerdy and make sure you won't ... by selecting all the text and CTRL + C for ones in your life. And you'll never loose a thing again, as it's easy to get it back with CTRL + V. Quote Link to comment
toxin
There's also a pretty handy extension called "Lazarus" that automatically saves field input. Though for some reason it doesn't work in this specific forum Regarding the JS error (it is a lag... if you wait long enough it eventually works), to be fair the true PoS here is Javascript Quote Link to comment
Adunaphel
I can reproduce both of Gragt's dialogue bugs: Centeol immediately starts commenting on the weather, whereas the mages at Sorcerous Sundries start talking about mephits. Quote Link to comment

(I'm no fan of JS, but blaming JS for things like this is absurd since other forums obviously don't have the same problems.) EDIT: ... anyway, sorry about the off-topic-ness. toxin
After staking Lassal, Bodhi appears and becomes hostile. However for some reason she just stands there and does nothing while my party pummels her almost to death (at which point she flees). Perhaps it was due to the fact that my party was buffed against just about any possible negative effect? krevett
Hello, I don't know if it's a bug, but Abazigal dragon form (non-ascension version) don't get the benefits from "Dragon staying power". He still has 200hp rather than 600 (should be tripled by default). All other dragons are fine. Quote Link to comment
hemike
Hello, I'm having the game crash everytime I start the game with SCS v30 installed. It crashes right after I try loading a game or after clicking "New Game". The screen becomes black, I can hear an error sound, and basically hangs and I have to terminate the process. I've rolled back my mods, and narrowed it down to just the Initialize mod component of SCS. The game crashes as described with this component, but works fine without this component. Attached is my Weidu log. Perhaps there is some incompatibility? I should also note that I've run the game fine previously with older versions when SCS I and II were separate, with just about identical other mods. // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod // ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // [Subcomponent Name -> ] Component Name [ : Version] ~TOBEX/TOBEX.TP2~ #0 #100 // TobEx -
